AZRE Magazine has come out with their 2020 Real Estate Development (RED) Awards winners, and we are excited to announce Park Central has won the Redevelopment Project of the Year award.
AZRE Magazine received a record number of entries and nominations for the RED awards for this year, and 17 projects were statewide. With a 15 year history of the RED Awards, AZRE and AZ Big Media recognizes the top commercial real estate projects completed the year prior, along with the companies and people that have made them possible.
Developed jointly by Holualoa Companies and Plaza Companies, Park Central is an innovative mixed-use project that combines a rich mid-century modern history with a new focus on technology, innovation, and design. Park Central Phase I is located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix off Central Avenue between Thomas and Osborn roads.
Home to the new Creighton University’s $100 million Health Sciences Campus, Park Central will be an epicenter for Phoenix’s medical education programs. In addition, Park Central will include a nine-story apartment building, a new parking structure, an arts center to house 400, and ample outdoor space with shaded meeting spaces.
We are excited that Park Central was showcased for its innovation and outdoor space to enrich the lives of our Valley community members. Park Central is set to be one-of-a-kind. It has large floor plates and high ceilings with a variety of fascinating exposed roof structures. The ground level offers indoor/outdoor work experiences and offers an authentic non-traditional office experiences. Its exceptional design was created by local architect richard+bauer.
